Weddings

Weddings are so much fun!  Our youngest son was married to the love of his life, Renee, this past summer.  They were married in Estes Park, Co.  It was so beautiful!  We're very blessed to welcome Renee to our family!

Yummy Supper

My husband made me one of my favorite meals for supper.  Meatball and fried potatoes.  They were so good!  He teased me in a text that he was buying pizza for supper.  I would have been very disappointed if he had done that.  When I got home I could smell the food.  Thanks honey.  It was great.

Portion Plates

My husband and I are planning a trip this spring.  We both decided that come January 1st we were going to cut back and start eating healthier.  It is day five and we are doing pretty well.  I saw these great portion plates. We've talked how it would help to use a smaller plate or in someway try to take smaller portions.  We often take way to much food at one setting.  What a great idea!!

Moving Snow

Moving snow isn't much fun, especially without some type of motorized unit to help.  Last year we bought a used snow blower and even though it hasn't been used much since the purchase it is nice to know that we don't have to shovel as much as we used to.  It sure saves time and energy.  It was somewhat funny since last winter we used it only two times.  We joked that it was because we now had a snow blower but if a snow blower kept the snow away that is fine with me.
