Skinny Dog

A few months ago our dog Zoe had some digestive issues so we put her on a different dog food. It is called Hills Prescription Diet i/d. Zoe absolutely loves it. It is a softer food in a can. She has never been good to take pills in her dry food but now she doesn't even stop to check for the pill. She just gobbles up the food like she is starving. It is hard to even put the food in her dish before she is eating it. The best thing about it is that Zoe has lost almost 8 pounds. She needed it.

Hungry Pooch

Ever since our dog Zoe had her digestive issue we have only been feeding her a canned diet type food. It is softer, although the company makes a dry food too, and she loves it. She has never eaten so well. Supposedly the food is better for dogs with certain problems such as digestion and mobility. For now we are going to continue giving it to her. Because of this food, and not feeding her table food, she has lost 3 or 4 pounds and she's a smaller dog. So that's a lot of weight for her.

Barking Dogs

Our neighbors have two dogs in kennels. One is a beagle and the other is at least part shepherd. They are, for the most part, pretty well behaved dogs. The beagle does get barking at times and it seems he will never stop. Right now he is on one of his barking streaks. Our dog, Zoe, was sitting outside watching those dogs but at least she was quiet.

Dog Ramps

We have a bichon. Her name is Zoe and she is such a sweetie. She can be a silly dog. She loves to sleep on our bed at night, but recently we purchased a new bed and bed frame. She can no longer jump up on the bed or jump down by herself. The bed is much higher now. So we have been shopping around and looking at dog ramps and steps. We have to give it a try.

Hungry Dog

We had been out of town for the day and when we got home Zoe was very hungry. Zoe is a Bichon and will be eight years old this year. I had read that that breed tends to have a small bladder so they can't be left too long. Zoe must be the exception because she can hold it all day and then some. She was very glad to see us when we arrived. She went outside right away and then returned to have supper. Now she is resting comfortably on the couch, her favorite place.
