Tis the Season! It's already fall and soon the holidays will be upon us. I have began the shopping process. Making a list can be the most time consuming part of it all. To gather christmas gift ideas for girlfriend, boyfriend, spouse, children and grandchildren takes some time. I do enjoy this time of year. With internet shopping it is so much easier. It saves me time and money.

Black Friday

Can you believe that Fall is almost here already? I have a co-worker who often reminds us of how many days until Christmas. It is unbelievable how close it really is. Just a couple of months and we'll be looking at Black Friday. That is a great way to spend a day getting a jump on the Christmas shopping if you haven't already started. We usually find some wonderful deals. I always look forward to it.

Men's Clothing

I have been married for 31 years and in those years I have found that my husband isn't really that interested in shopping. So, I have enjoyed buying men's clothing for him. He usually likes what I pick out, but there has been a time or two that he didn't agree with the purchase. It's funny how we get to know each other so well. It is easy to shop for him now. I can look at a shirt or slacks and know that it will suit him.

I love the fact that I no longer have to leave home to do some shopping. It has saved me time and money. I can quickly search the net for what I am needing and in the process compare prices and find great deals. Whether you are looking for hip hop clothing, hardware or something in the technology field, it is easy to search and find it. At Christmas time I have really save myself a lot of shopping time and expense.

Grocery Day

Bill and I got groceries yesterday which is really kind of a fun job. We have gotten it down to where we can be done in about an hour. We generally get our main load of groceries every other week and then of course pick up a few things in between. It is nice to have them all put away and now we can enjoy our day at home today. We usually like to set up our weekends so that we can have a day at home. It doesn't always work out that way, but when it does it sure is nice.

Christian Books

Over the years we have collected a variety of books. They cover many subjects and often are motivational. We enjoy shopping for Christian books that can assist us in our studies of the Bible. Today a person can find an assortment of reading materials. They can be a great informational tool. Recently I was looking at awesome Christian Childrens books, CD's and DVD's. What a great way to help teach your children and grandchildren about God.

Purses

I am like most ladies, I enjoy purses. I have quite a few, but seem to think that I need more. I may choose to purchase according to material, color or style. It kind of depends on my mood that day. It's also great to buy that smaller fun looking purse that is the perfect accessory for an outfit. I don't think I'll get tired of buying purses anytime soon.

TV

I am not sure why, but we seem to have a TV in almost every room of our home. It must be convenience, because it sure is handy. We recently purchased a LCD 47" flat screen tv. It is beautiful. We have really been enjoying it. With our surround sound and the big screen, you almost feel like you're at the theater. All we need is the popcorn.

Baby Bedding

Almost a year ago now, we had the joy of two births in our family. Becoming grandparents for the first time was amazing! We have been enjoying watching them grow and change before our eyes. Shopping for them has also been a lot of fun. We have found items like baby toys, baby bedding, clothes, diaper bags, slings and more. There is so much out there. It's just the greatest!
