Summer
Isn't summer great! Bill and the boys pulled out all of our trees and bushes in front of our house last fall. So now this spring I had the task of picking out new shrubs and plants. We planted back in May and they seem to be holding their own so far. We water them every other day and they are looking good.

Weddings
This summer seems to be the year of weddings. They say that July 7, 2007 will be the most popular date to chose for your wedding date. We just happen to be invited to a wedding on that day. They are a family that we have known for quite a few years. We first met them through a bible study group we were part of when we first began attending First Baptist. It should be a fun time.

Phone Call
Have you ever had a phone call that you found was just a recording? We get them sometimes. For example, tonight we had a call from a lady named Heather. Heather started saying that we could lower our interest rates on credit cards. I thought about hanging up or at least saying that I was not interested but then I figured out that the call was a recording. The lady didn't say which credit card she was referring to so it made me wonder if this was a legitimate call.

Back Ache
I'm not sure why, but I am having a few problems with my back these days. It is very difficult for me to sit through a show. What is strange to me is that it doesn't ache when I'm at work and I sit much of the day. It must be the chair that I have there. I am even having problems at home some. Sure wish I knew why.

Mexico
Isn't something today how so many people travel. It took many years before my husband and I even traveled out of the country. Well, it seems like young people today have the opportunity to travel quite often. My youngest son recently started a job with a company that is now going to be sending him to Mexico for a week. He has done quite a bit of traveling with family, but never out of the United States. He's pretty excited about it.

TV
We don't seem to have the time to watch TV these days. There is always something to do. Summer is just too short. We have had plans just about every weekend and the weekdays fly by. Seems that reruns are all that are on the TV anyway these days. We do enjoy catching an old Western Movie, Lifetime Movie or Hallmark Movie. Good thing for movies.

Anniversary
WOW! My husband and I are going to celebrate our 28th anniversary tomorrow. Time just goes by so fast. It seems like yesterday that we were meeting on the steps of the Dairy Sweet in his home town. That was several years before we actually got married,so I guess we've known each other for quite a few years now. It's been great and look forward to many many more to come. We'll have to do something fun tomorrow.

The Lord
The Lord sure does bless. He is faithful even when we are not. When we are faithful to seek and serve Him, it becomes more clear to us what He would have for us to do and say. Walking closely with Him is so rewarding. Most of us need to slow down and take some quiet time with Him.

New Blog
Thought I would set up a new Blog. I think they are fun and interesting. I enjoy visiting other blogs. I keep up with some of my family members by reading theirs. Then there is the opportunity to also share a persons views on products and websites. I like that part of blogging also. If you haven't started up a personal blog yet, now is the time. You'll be glad you did.

Lunch
I usually have a lunch break each day when I'm working. I come home and have a routine with my puppy dog. She always wants to meet and greet me first. After that we head for the kitchen to see what's for lunch. Then of course she has to take a visit outside for a short time. When finished, she barks to come back in. Then she feels that she has earned and deserves a few treats. She sits by my side and sniffs my pocket to see if the treats are hiding in there. She's pretty smart. We love her.
