Computer Issues

Have you ever had computer problems of any kind? I am sure you have. Our laptop works well most of the time. There are times when it over heats and shuts down. It can run all night long and never shut off but frequently, when sitting on my lap, it will just turn off. After it cools down it works fine. If you have any thoughts of how to correct this problem please let me know.
